Where should I live in Phoenix? - phd counseling online
I plan on moving to Phoenix in the fall of 2010. Currently I am a student taking courses online at a master's degree in mental health counseling. I am looking for places to practice and perhaps research of doctoral programs UA or ASU. I want a place with low crime rate and decent rental rates in the range of 600-800 for a QB spot. Thank you!

I lived in Chandler for the past five years and absolutely charming. There's more to extend Gilbert, Queen Creek and Ahwatukee its limits. It is a densely populated area, and smaller than most metro cities. All these cities are awarded for the type of the suburbs, many good deals at all. I think the South Tempe is nice too, and South Africa, west of Mesa is not so bad.
All these cities are much cheaper than in Scottsdale.
Looking outside of Phoenix, in places such as Tempe, Mesa and Gilbert. Here you will find many places cheaper there. Tempe will be your best option, only 5-10 minutes from downtown Phoenix ... Nice place, cheap, and to Mill Avenue. Large apartments for under $ 800/month.
Ahwatukee baby! Lived there for two years and loved it. It is almost 10, very clean and safe walk from most walks in the AZ. :)
Get an apartment there .... The houses are too expensive in this area. I lived in Ladera Ranch and loved it. :)
I love Arizona-The weather is awesome =)
Unfortunately I did not answer your question ...
